PHILIP GARRETT RCA

This site is a growing collection of nearly twenty years of independent sculpture, including stone and wood carving in Italy and Japan plus future plans to return and explore also, new carving communities. It tracks a career of major public work from the John Colet statue in Sydney to the Jeremiah Horrocks scientific legacy in Preston. I am currently organizing this body of work to show maquettes that are the seed of a larger potential monument ideas. Others were proposals for public Competitions in sculpture, plus there are some personal pieces too. This archive is the best place to see my work online and to get in touch. It is the ideal place for potential partners and patrons to discover the archive and to discuss how to expand on these ideas, to bring them into the public realm as lasting public monuments.
